SLASH-UPS Halloween Art Show.

It’s come as a bit of a surprise, but I’m happy to say myself and James were approach very recently about putting on a SLASH-UPS theme horror art show by the St Mary In The Castle Gallery. We had been planning on doing something SLASH-UPS related for this Halloween, so when the offer of a show came along, it just seemed too perfect to pass up.

So from the 28th of October until the 3rd of December this year, if you make your way to St Mary In The Castle (7 Pelham Crescent, Hastings, TN34 3AF, Untied Kingdom), you’ll be able to see most of the pin-ups that make up SLASH-UPS up for display. With many now in colour. As well as some of my Babayka-Lives artwork and sequential pages, and some new humorous horror art by James.

The show itself takes place in a real life renovated crypt, and the gallery also has its own bar, and there’s even talk of a small party and horror movie screening to celebrate opening night.

I know the number of you who either live in the South East of England, or live close enough that you could drive or travel down might be small. But if anybody wants any help in finding this show, please contact me by Note on Deviantart or Email at the usual address, and I’ll do my best to guide you there. One big hint is the gallery is across the road from the sea. So just follow the coast until you see the cliffs and that big, white building.

You can find more details on St Mary In The Castle on their Facebook page

As you can see above, I’ve drawn a brand new piece of art to celebrate and advertise this show. See the famous St Mary’s clock-tower get invaded by a gruesome blobby creature.

I hope to maybe see some of you there at this event this Halloween.

Also, while we’re talking SLASH-UPS… I should also mention there are no more copies of the book in the capital right now, for the lovely reason that we sold out. But plans are underway to try and get some more back into London soon. And on that note, a massive thank you to everyone who has bought a copy and supported SLASH-UPS since its launch.

I’ll be giving more updates on this show as they happen. Again, please feel free to get in contact if you have any questions about visiting this show.

And of course people can still get their copies of SLASH-UPS in time for Halloween.
