Jumping Paratrooper.

Last time we saw a Paratrooper on this blog, he was shooting his Sten Machine Gun down the hatch of a Tiger Tank. Now we have this one (or is it the same guy?) leaping for his life.

What I kind of like about this pose is that it makes him look like he's a character out of an old Platfromer game from the 1980's. Maybe he's even jumping to get a Golden Coin or trying to land on a Nazi Gommba.

Cookie Creep.

You know when sometimes a News Headline makes you laugh, even when it shouldn't... This Headline is one of those times. 

I think it's the confused Dog and the Goofy Grin.

Coal Scuttle Helmet And Eagle.

You know it's gonna be one of those weeks when you start it by posting a picture of a Nazi...

My take on a World War 2 German Soldier for a forthcoming Pin-Up. I spent a long time trying to get that Coal Scuttle style Helmet and Badges and Insignia just right.

Going Full Commando.

Although technically the title should read "Going Full Paratrooper". 

This isn't my first time drawing a British WW2 Paratrooper, but is my first go at trying to depict their full Uniform and Weapon.

Eaten Out Woodlice.

Just recently I've been finding a lot of remains of eaten out Woodlice shells around my house (especially around the windows), which has been grossing me out.

My theory is there's either something big and nasty scuttling around here picking off the local Woodlice for lunch... Or that this Winter has gotten so cold and desperate, that the Woodlice have turned carnivorous and started eating each other.
