Dead Fly.

I’m amazed how many bugs and dead insects I seem to be posting on this blog recently. For some reason creepy-crawlies seem to be a big theme in my work lately. Not really sure why.

Even in Babayka Land, they’re creeping their way into the story, as this latest panel shows.

Anyone reading this blog with Entomophobia must be hating my updates recently.

Yana In Progress.

I feel like I’m jinxing myself, posting an image before it’s finish…

But this blog could do with some Yana action this Summer (even if it’s only a work-in-progress photo) for Babayka fans.

The British Summer Time.

I can’t think of a better image to sum up my current mood concerning my Summer so far this year than this photo.

I woke up today to find another gloomy overcast morning outside my bedroom window waiting for me, as well as the depressing sight of a dead Bumble Bee cocooned in a newly spun spider web. One of the most iconic creatures of Summer, trapped and hanging upside down, as its lifeless bug eyes watch me through the window.

Also as I write this, I am currently battling a cold I picked up after getting caught in the rain on Monday. I can feel my Cold and Hay Fever fighting for supremacy in a tiny epic war in my poor sinuses.

I need some Sunshine and Vitamin D.
