Just because a friend sent me this recently, and it made me laugh.

Doc Tease.
Just a quick reminder that this Saturday is the start of a very short hiatus for Babayka-Lives. I don’t plan for it to be a long break or anything, so watch this space for updates soon.
I also recently just uploaded another instalment of Babayka Land over on Babayka-Lives Tapastic page.
And just so this blog post isn’t all business, no fun, here’s a quick phone pic of what I’m working on right now. That’s right, I’m currently taking a quick stab at the Mad Doctor genre, in my latest pin-up. So expect some sinister medical mayhem heading your way in the near future, folks.

KI-KI-KI-MA-MA-MA.
In honour of today being Friday The 13th… I’ve got a hockey mask wearing psycho to write today’s blog post. See… here he is now blogging away.
He wants you to know that tomorrow’s update of Babayka-Lives will be the last for a little bit, as we’ll be on a very short hiatus before moving on into the next scene. But the break won’t be very long.
He also wants you to know that if he catches you Skinny-Dipping or engaging in outdoor sex today, he’s gonna get you. Although in this terrible winter weather, it’ll probably more likely be the cold that’ll kill you first.
FUN FACT: It’s actually really unpleasant wearing a hockey mask when you have a beard. It’s no wonder Jason shave his off between part 2 and 3.

Gorehounds Delight.
As long term readers no doubt know by now… sometimes on Babayka-Lives, things can get a little bit gory. No spoilers for tomorrow’s instalment, but if you are a gore-hound, all I’ll say is… it might be one of the goriest things I’ve ever drawn.

Uncle Gnaw.
What better way to start the new year, then with an extreme close-up of a monstrous, inbred, cannibal’s face, huh?
Uncle Gnaw (The Skinny-Dipper Ripper) is a character I have been developing a little in my spare time recently. He’s kind of a throw back to Slasher movies I use to watch as a kid. A sinister, backwoods yokel type, who preys on those lost in the woods, or having a naked splash-about in his lake.
I just had a big urge to do a close-up of a monster face shot recently, and choose to make it Gnaw, as with his missing eye, and open nose cavity, it would give me a chance to draw some cool, gross things and in detail. I kind of feel close-up face drawings are a little risky, as they either look really good, or they really don’t (I’ll let you judge if you think I pulled it off or not.)
For those wanting a little bit more Gnaw, you can catch up on his previous Skinny-Dipping spoiling adventures HERE and HERE, as he puts a premature end to model Mercedes The Muse’s watery midnight hook-up.
If this face doesn’t put you off Skinny-Dipping… nothing will.

Happy New Year.
Is it weird that I kind of wish 2016 was a person, so I could then beat it mercilessly with a plank, and then back over them in a car a few times, maybe, and then finish by setting 2016 on fire and burying it in the woods late at night? Or is that just me…?
Hope everyone had a good Christmas last week, and a Happy New Year for tonight. I myself have been spending my Xmas holiday thusly:
Catching up on Game Of Thrones: Where my unhealthy Melisandre Of Asshai crush thickens. One of my New Year resolutions for 2017, I fear, must be to stop crushing on mean girls.
Wondering how long a chest infection can humanly go on for: If you are currently suffering one, too, I’ve found sucking on a really strong cough lozenge while having a super hot shower helps… well… for a little while, anyway.
Watching people play the beta on youtube of Friday The 13th: Also watching people play Dead By Daylight and Lakeview Cabin. Man, it really is a golden age for Slasher video-games right now.
While I, like many people, won’t be sorry to see the back of 2016, it has had some highs also. It’s been great to launch Babayka Land this year and move Babayka-Lives forward. I’ve also enjoyed branching out and starting to work with other artists and models, which is something I wanna keep going in 2017. I have at least one big project coming working with someone else next year, and possible some more models and monsters pin-ups in the pipeline, as well as one or two side-projects. I can’t really make any promises right now, as when working with other artists\models, stuff can and does fall through, so all I can say is watch this space.
Also, there’s only a few more instalments of Babayka Land to go, as we head into 2017, before I take a very short break in the New Year, and return soon after that. Until then, tune in to Babayka-Lives this weekend to see if Newton and his sister can safely escape with their new friends.
So HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE… I very much hope 2017 turns out to be the lifeboat fleeing the shipwreck that was 2016.

The Stash.
I think we can all agree you can judge whether someone has been a good or bad boy that year by the quality of the presents Santa brings them on the big day. So here’s how I made out this year.
Clearly Santa was going for a bit of a Slasher theme this Christmas.
