For some reason, I really looked forward to drawing this shot. I knew it was going to be one of the few shots that really sum up this comic. The weird thing is… considering this is a horror story, I don’t think I’ve ever drawn so many smiling faces before.I’m feeling a little burnt out today. I’m not far off finishing the first issue, so I’ve been pushing it lately. Working till my eyes are burning and my hand feels like it’s going to drop off or cease up. So I’m taking the rest of the night off. I got one of those Modern Masters books through the post today (the Kevin Maguire one) which I’m going to read, then maybe a film.
